Things All Men Should Be Able To Do

There are certain things in life that men, should know how to do.  Today we will be focusing on the automotive category.

Thing #1:  Change a tire.  You need to know how to change a tire, for when you need to pull over and help that damsel in distress with a flat.

Thing #2:  Change your oil.  Because everyone should know how to change their own oil.  It will save you money, you will get dirty, and you will have that feeling of accomplishment afterwards.

Thing #3:  Adjust a carburetor.  The last thing you want to do on your classic hot rod is run it too lean or too rich.  Learn how to adjust a carb, it’s easy, and with a little practice anyone can master it.

Keeping Your Man Card, How it Began

I guess the first thing we need to say is welcome to our blog!  Keeping Your Man Card is a site, that is dedicated to men…being men.  It was bred out of nights of cigar smoke, fine scotch, and talks about what has happened to the men of our generation.

Once upon a time, men were men.  They ate meat, smoked cigars and/or pipes, rode motorcycles, and were not afraid to throw a punch if they needed to.  We are a dying breed gentlemen, a once powerful force, our culture is now being reduced to that of timid ballessness.  We are here to help fight that battle, and try our best to be a refuge for those of us that do exist.

I guess I should tell you a little about myself, my name is Frank.  I have always tried to be a mans man.  I smoke cigars, drink liquor, never mistreat a woman, and can work on a damn car.  I will be authoring this site with my good friend Pat, another guy who isn’t afraid to still be a man.  We hope you enjoy our ramblings, and hope you will comment and give us your input.

Thank you,

Frank

P.S.  If you are wearing skinny jeans, please leave now.
