One of the newest lines to be released from Kurt Kendall is the K.A. Kendall’s 7-20-4 Hustler.  This cigar was released at this past years IPCPR show in Orlando.

The appearance of this cigar is nothing short of cool.  The 7-20-4 Hustler is a barber pole wrapped cigar, which has been done beautifully.  The contrast between the Brazilian Mata Fina wrapper and the Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper really sets this cigar apart in the humidor.  The Hustler also features two bands, a standard with bright blue and red colors and the 7-20-4 logo in black and gold.  The foot band features the same color scheme, but reads Hustler.

The flavor profile on the Hustler is simply wonderful.  Upon first lighting the cigar, I noted a slight pleasant bitterness accompanied by a sweet cocoa flavor.  There were also some leathery notes and well as a very nice creaminess to this cigar.  About mid way through the cigar a pleasant nuttiness appeared as well.

The burn on this cigar was excellent, which is a bit surprising considering the barber pole wrapper.  My previous experiences with barber poles are that at some point they start to burn unevenly at one of the new layer, but not the 7-20-4 Hustler.  The smoke was full and abundant.

Buy it again.  Hell yeah!  Besides the fact that it looks awesome, it is one of the best barber poles on the market.  The flavor was great and the construction was excellent, what more could you want?  Oh, and did I mention it looks badass!
