With the passing of a great actor Mr. James Gandolfini aka Tony Soprano, we thought it would only be proper to pull something out of the back of the humidor.  The CAO Soprano being smoked for this review was bought I believe in 2009.  The size, well you’ve gotta show some respect for the Boss!

The wrapper of this cigar is dark and oily, slightly toothy, and shows some very light veins.  The band is the very familiar black and red and marked, CAO. The band is accompanied by a red foot band that reads “Sopranos Edition”.  The cigar also comes in the red Cadillac trunk box.

This cigar is very smooth, and would fall in the full body category for strength.  The flavors present in this cigar are those of coffee, cocoa, and some very light leather notes.  The flavor profile of this cigar is excellent, and makes this cigar a great after dinner smoke.

The burn of this cigar was overall pretty good, and stayed fairly even throughout the entire smoke.  The burn did require one touch up at around the halfway point.  The ash was firm and white, and this cigar bellowed tons of white smoke.

If you have some, or can get your hands on one, fire yourself up a CAO Soprano, pour yourself a glass of Glenlivet 12, and tell somebody to “fuck off” tonight in honor of a great actor, character, and person.  Bada Bing!

-James Gandolfini was a well known cigar aficionado.

Log off, that “cookies” shit makes me nervous! -Tony Soprano
