Welcome back Sam Leccia to the cigar business.  Sam is the original creator of Nub and Cain cigar lines.  After a few years break, he is back with an all-new company, Leccia Tobacco.

This is a clean looking cigar with a beautiful medium colored Habano wrapper.  The band of this cigar is black and white in color with a large letter “L” and the words Leccia Tobacco.

Flavor wise you get a pop of pepper from the ligero upon initial lighting.  After about the first quarter of the cigar the flavors have mellowed out leaving you with a very pleasant smoky flavor.  Wood, leather, pepper, and spice are some of the other notes that are present throughout the smoke.

Construction was spot on.  I did require one touch up, but I will also say that I was smoking this cigar with others, and I may have just been talking too much and not paying as much attention to the cigar.  Ash held well overall, and the cigar produced lots of white smoke with a pleasant aroma.

Buy it again?  Probably, the initial pepper bomb from the ligero was a little unexpected, but knowing that coming in to the stick again, I’m sure it is something that I would enjoy.
