A cigar I have been meaning to do a review on for quite some time now is the Cubanacan Connecticut by Tarazona Cigars.  We are big fans of Tarazona Cigars, one because they make a great stick, and two, because they support charities that take care of Pit Bulls.  The Cubanacan Connecticut gets its name from the factory where it is made in Nicaragua.

The Cubanacan Connecticut features a light brown Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper with minimal veining.  The band is tan and brown in color and proudly displays the name Cubanacan.

Flavor wise this cigar has strong wood notes, as well as some light notes of cream and pepper.  The Cubanacan Connecticut is a solid medium bodied cigar in my book.  It is an excellent cigar for early mornings or before meals.

Burn wise this is an excellent burning cigar.  The burn was smooth and even throughout requiring only one touch up around the mid way point.  The smoke was thick and white, with a relatively firm ash, only falling when ashed.

Buy it again?  I picked up a box, and so far I have smoked probably 12 of these, so I have plenty more to burn through!
