The Recluse Draconian is one of the newest releases from cigar company Iconic Leaf.   The new Draconian will be available in a number of sizes, including the sidewinder.  For this review, I smoked the 5×52 Robusto.

Looks wise this is a very cool, kind of badass looking cigar.  The cigar itself is medium to dark brown in color and is box pressed.  The cigar has two bands, the standard black and silver “Recluse” band, and a lower one that reads “Draconian” in red.  The cigar also has a red ribbon foot band.

Flavor wise this cigar opens pretty strong.  Upon lighting you are hit with a dose of white pepper that continues to please your taste buds throughout the entire smoke.  There is also a slight nuttiness as well as some subtle wood and cedar notes.

The Recluse Draconian burned fairly well and even throughout the smoke.  I did require two touch ups, but was smoking outside with wind.   The smoke on the cigar was full and white with a pleasant aroma.

Buy it again?  Probably.  The new Recluse Draconian is a great stick with a definite kick to it.  If you are a fan of strong pepper notes, than this is definitely a cigar for you.
